Short biography
Rubinka Vlahov-Petrović was born in Zagreb in 1964. She graduated at the University of Zagreb - Faculty of Science, where she earned a B.Sc. degree in engineering. Through several programs of continued training in the fields of financial analysis, project valuation, controlling systems and information technology, she combined her theoretical knowledge with a practical use in the areas of hotel and tourism controlling.
Starting her career at the Institute for Tourism in Zagreb, in 1993 Rubinka joined Horwath Consulting Zagreb as a senior consultant, engaging in consulting activities within the areas of finance and controlling for hotel and tourism companies, economic-financial feasibility of development projects and valuation of hotel properties and companies. She is involved in coaching projects for top management as well as the projects of establishing payroll and incentive systems in hotel industry.
