Short biography
Miroslav Villi was born in Zagreb, where he graduated in Architecture (1969). At the Croatian Urban Institute (1970-1998) he participated and led a wide range of spatial plans, as well as professional and research studies. Miroslav specialized in Environmental protection and he led a variety of projects relating to this. As a manager of the Centre for automatic data processing, he actively participated in organizing the implementation of modern information technologies.
From 1989 he led and coordinated projects relating to housing, tourism, energy, environment protection, which, after being nationally and internationally reviewed, served as a base for a range of physical planning projects and similar. Since 1998 Miroslav worked at the Department for Physical Planning within the Ministry of Environmental Protection, Physical Planning and Construction, where he was involved in implementation of information technologies, especially GIS technologies.
In his free time, Miroslav is actively involved in archery, and as an international judge in archery he participates in global and European competitions.
