Horwath HTL Zagreb, the leading consulting company for tourism, hospitality and leisure industry in Southeast Europe and a member of the global Horwath HTL network, has started with development of Strategic and operational marketing plan for tourism of Romania for the period 2011 – 2015.

Horwath HTL Zagreb has won the public tender published from the Ministry of Tourism and Regional Development of Romania, in competition with international consulting companies.

Development of Strategic and operational marketing plan for tourism of Romania is a part of the systematic activities of Romanian Government in creating and stimulating the development of tourism on national level. After the extensive market research in the branding process of Romanian tourism, Romanian Government has initiated a process of development of the Strategic and operational marketing plan for tourism, aiming to provide a realistic assessment of market potential and to define competitive advantages of Romanian tourism, as well as to develop an efficient system of marketing techniques and technologies.
